Recently we teamed up with some new and familiar faces within the wedding industry to produce an intimate styled shoot in the hinterland of the Gold Coast.
With exclusive use of the left wing Castle on Tamborine at Lisson Grove, our small team of wedding creatives from Brisbane to Byron Bay brought Love Notes inspired vision to life.
Featuring hand lettered lyrics by Lauranne from The Pleasantry, to floral lined envelopes and matching invitation suite from Jackie at Life is Peachy. Each designer had no idea I was about to mix their designs together and the end result turned out to be the hero image! I love surprising the designers at Love Notes and bringing creative’s together who may not of had an opportunity of working together previously.
The setting was intimate and embodied all things romantic featuring not one, but three fresh buttercream cakes made by Maria at Magnolia Cake Boutique. All three cakes were adorned with beautiful dried floral arrangements which were later removed and replaced with fresh florals by floral artist to the stars, Julia Rose.
The chains on the bridge leading up to the entrance of The Castle on Tamborine were laden with fresh greenery by Julia, providing an enchanted frame for the wooden arched doors. Blush peonies, purple berries and wild ramblings featured in the bridal bouquet which brought all the elements of the shoot to life against the slate grey castle walls.
The shoot didn’t go without some last minute hiccups…after all it is the events industry!
With our lovely model Linda stranded in Singapore due to delayed flights, we had less than 24 hours to find another. Goes without saying I am super grateful to Celeste Koryzma for jumping on board to be our starring model for the day. Whilst Celeste was hand sewn into the hand crafted gown by Helena Couture Designs, we had an opportunity of learning the history of the dress from the designer. From that day on, I believe every dress should come with a story and thank you Helena for sharing the history of the dress with us.
